Indiana Photo of the Week:
AFSCME Council 62 Director David Warrick
David Warrick is Executive Director of AFSCME Council 62. He began working for the State of Indiana in 1986 and became involved in the AFSCME organizing drive in 1990. He served on the first Indiana State Bargaining Team and was elected president of AFSCME Local 795. He began his AFSCME career as a staff representative for Council 62 in 1994 and rose to associate director in 1999 and to executive director in February 2003.
David was quoted as saying, "I want someone in DC who will represent the issues working families care about, not the interests of corporations and big business. That is why I support Andre Carson and why I am heading out to talk to union members about the issues in this critical election."

Director Warrick with Congressional candidate Andre Carson moments after Carson signed the Employee Free Choice Act pledge.
Lettie Oliver and Ken Zeller were interviewed on WTLC 1130am radio last night, and used the opportunity to tell listeners why our united labor movement is supporting Andre Carson, and to speak the truth about the extreme positions of Jon Elrod.
