THE KENTUCKY GOVERNOR SIGNS AFSCME UNION AGREEMENTS

Thanks to the hard work of Kentucky State Employees who are AFSCME members, we now have a written Union Agreement with the State.  The Agreement was negotiated by an elected team of our co-workers, ratified by AFSCME members and is effective immediately with the Governor's signature.  

This is a tremendous step in building a strong Union.  As state employees, we now have written rules and rights that cannot be changed unilaterally on any given day at the whim of management.  This agreement lays a solid foundation for expanding those rights for years to come.  

We are in the process of getting the Agreement to the printer so that every AFSCME member will have their own copy outlining our rights in the workplace.  If you have any questions about your rights under this Agreement or think that your rights may have been violated, you can call us at 866-871-0646.
